The breath meditation is by far the most universal, because the breathe is the most accessible tool we have to cultivate a meditation practice. It was my vehicle to reach higher states of consciousness when I first began this journey. Therefore, I hope you can find your breath as important as I did when starting a meditation practice. I am a moon baby without a doubt, so I have created moon meditations to activate you during these strong lunar cycles. Lastly, I would like to share with you a chakra meditation, because there is nothing more satisfying than getting aligned and when you can learn how to open your energy centers magic happens!

breath meditation

This meditation is to help you create a relationship with your breath. Conscious breathing seems simple, however, many people don’t actually receive the proper amount of oxygen. After oxygen reaches the lungs, it passes into the blood vessels and is then carried to all the cells in the body. Shallow chest breathing produces oxygen deficiencies. Breathing deeply can calm, clear and rejuvenate your mind.

New moon meditation

This meditation is all about fresh starts and new beginnings. A new moon is when the sun and the moon are on the same side of the Earth, so recharging under the energy of the new moon is a great time to turn yourself inward. Self reflection and intention setting is the best way to make the most of a new moon.

full moon meditation

This meditation focuses on the full moon, which occurs when the sun and the moon are on opposite sides of the Earth. Now is the time you should be reaping the benefits of your intentions set during the new moon. You will see these benefits in the form of new opportunities. Make sure you’re prepared and open to receive what you’ve manifested and ready to release what no longer serves you.

Chakra meditation

This meditation is meant to open and activate your seven major energy centers, which run from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. These energy centers correspond to massive nerve centers in your body. Everything is moving, so it’s essential that these areas are open, aligned, and fluid. If there is a blockage, energy cannot flow. So, during this meditation, take notice of the areas you feel are blocked and embrace the areas that are open.
